Lorenzo Pusterla

Lorenzo Pusterla, born in 1969 in Como, has been working for over 30 years in the family business, Pusterlamarmi, a small Como-based workshop dedicated to sculptures, marble processing, funerary art and design.

Mosaic / Stone

Pusterlamarmi’s core values are deeply rooted into the culture of artistic craftsmanship: an Italian excellence since 1977, still passionately and lovingly exploring innovative ways for natural stone processing, a journey nowadays guided by Lorenzo and his sister Angela. Since childhood Lorenzo knew that his path would lead him to craftsmanship: he used to closely watch his father Giampiero working in the workshop, where he passionately, patiently and dedicatedly sculpted elegant and delicate shapes, coming to life in his hands between a chisel stroke and another. Thanks to his father, Lorenzo learned how to “feel”, touch, understand, process and shape the material. Pusterlamarmi specializes in religious artworks, funerary monuments and chapels, ranging from the simplest to most complex style, but can also provide classical and contemporary artworks, restorative and conservative interventions, always guaranteeing the highest standards and attention to detail.

Working with sculptors Bruno Luzzani and Vito Valentino Cimarosi, masters of the Como region, the studio designs and creates marble and natural stone sculptures in any size, for private clients or public spaces. All their creations are unique and non-replicable, they even come with an authenticity certificate signed by the master himself. Priceless sculptures, both in terms of artistic and symbolic value, created according to the rules of traditional high craftsmanship and Italian culture.
