Editor in chief of Living Corriere della Sera
Living is the interiors, design and lifestyle supplement of the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera.
Monthly printed, digital and online editions are the heart of Italy’s first vertical furnishing publication present on leading social media sites. Dedicated to new ways of experiencing domestic spaces, the RCS monthly begins in the home and touches on everything that revolves around it: food, art, fashion and green living. The magazine focuses on the best of Italian-made excellence, from industrial design to craftsmanship, an international outlook and a strong vocation towards service. All these topics are reflected in each page and project of Living.
Thanks to the careful and sensitive editing of Francesca Taroni, the magazine always dedicates significant space to the high quality craftsmanship so intrinsic to the project’s culture. One of the most significant recent initiatives as part of the Salone del Mobile Furniture Fair 2016 was the “Doppia Firma” project, launched by Living with Fondazione Cologni and Yoox, a happy and unique partnership between the greatest designers and craft workers of various sectors. This was an experimental project that united innovative design with the tradition of Italy's great artistic masters, using the great potential of digital media to tell the story of this inimitable duo. The project gave life to a unique collection of exquisite objects, each one the result of a creative exchange between a designer and a craftsman and based on almost unique know-how. New works were created through the reciprocal fertilisation between a project culture open to contemporaneity and a know-how that is an authentic representation of the region. The project has been widely publicised and promoted in the media by Living and has succeeded in expanding the expressive possibilities of craftsmanship, helping artists to explore new dimensions while at the same time offering designers the chance to work with evocative and narrative-rich techniques, materials and practices.
