The names of the Master artisans have been symbolically recorded in a special Libro d’Oro, or Golden Book, of Excellence in Italian Arts and Crafts. Signed by each of the Masters featured, this precious document will be expanded in future editions to create an authoritative directory of our country’s Living Treasures, to paraphrase the concept as defined by the Japanese government.
