Renata Colombo learned traditional bobbin-lace making in Cantù, in the Lombardy region, after which she specialised in the creation of anthropomorphic and natural figures. As an expert merlettaia, she is dedicated to transmitting the techniques she has mastered with the aim of keeping the fascinating arts of lace alive in Cantù.
